UTU Local 771 is a United Transportation Union Lodge operating out of Needles California. We are part of the Coastlines seniority district. Our runs include Needles to Barstow California for 172 miles, Needles to San Bernardino California for 258 miles, Needles to Bakersfield California for 318 miles and Needles to Winslow, Arizona for 293 miles. Our Territory ranges from a few feet below sea level at Saltus California to 7200 feet above sea level near Flagstaff Arizona. We have Mountain Grades such as the Cajon Pass and The Tehachipi. We have about 300 members and most of us really enjoy our jobs even though the Co.
